When did YouTube become such a compendium of all things amazing? From Burlesque videos to fashion shows to scenes from old movies, we're hooked on all the visual treats!
We started our own channel on YouTube (find it here) so we could share videos from our events...
Our 20th Anniversary celebration included a burlesque cake-pop from Lady D'Luce, perfectly flirty in Velda Lauder's 'Dita' corset, a lingerie set from Andres Sarda, and a Piper Ewan garter...
We've been fortunate enough to host our annual Holiday fashion shows next door at Oregon Wines on Broadway for the past few years, and this year our lovely film editor Ned Thanhouser made not one but two films from the evening's footage!
The first centered around our surprise-visitor, Santa Claus, and showed our lovely models in all of 2011's finest Holiday lingerie...
The second captured the evening's burlesque fan dance, performed by Hai Fleisch, from start to finish! She is so perfectly statuesque, stunning in Valery Prestige & Marjolaine, and we are so blessed to be able to share the video with those that missed her performance that evening!
Beyond our lovely videos, we've been captivated by all the various inspirations we can find with a simple push of a button!
Our most recent favorite is a video from Madrid's fashion week showing Spanish designer Andres Sarda's Fall/Winter collection in true glory. The styling of his show is unbelievable - from the flowers woven in their hair to the brightly-colored stockings, we want to move in! We are so excited that many of the pieces in the fashion show will be making their way to us this fall...
Ellen Von Unwerth has an amazing eye behind the camera, and exquisite taste in lingerie... Her 'Naughty' Fairytale is certainly naughty, but also feminine, playful and seductive...
Who doesn't love a shimmy? This short video is just that: a fabulous pair of Strumpet & Pink couture knickers and a little wiggle.
