No undressing, kids are watching
CUT out the undressing scenes, the kids are watching.
That’s what viewers in Hong Kong are telling the Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) station which produces popular Cantonese dramas.
TVB has come under fire for showing actress Fala Chen, 27, actress undressing in its new series, The Stew of Life.
There are two scenes in the where Chen changes clothes, showing her bra.
Viewers are complaining that the scenes are inappropriate to be broadcast, especially during the family hour of between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.

They have also been complaints that the 42-year-old television station has resorted to sell sex and sleaze to increase its ratings.
Among the programmes cited for “negative influences” include Beauty’s Kitchen, The Super Trio game show and Mr Hong Kong contest.
Chen, who was Miss Chinese International 2005 runner up, is a rising star who has been given major role in popular TVB series like Heart of Greed, Moonlight Resonance and Forensic Heroes.
She told the media in an interview that the producer had said the scene was “okay” to be broadcast.
“I was wearing a sport bra. So it should be healthy, not sexy,’’ she said.
The drama’s producer Amy Wong told Hong Kong’s Ming Pao that she was surprised with the complaints.
“The public is overreacting as the scenes do not convey immoral behaviour,” she said.
Wong said in one scene the actress had to change in front of actor Timmy Hung, whom under the script, she had misunderstood to be gay, as such men usually regard their female friends as sisters.
“It is a comedy,’’ she said, adding the series would display a “PG” (Parental Guidance) rating at the start of each episode.
